Silk Way in Almaty is a cozy retreat in the heart of the city. The room was well-equipped with modern amenities, including an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV, making it a comfortable stay for my travel partner and me. The friendly staff at the 24-hour front desk were always available to assist with any inquiries or recommendations for local attractions, such as the Ascension Cathedral and Gvardeytsev-Panfilovtsev Park, which were a short walk away.The complimentary continental breakfast was a delightful start to our day, although it could have been a bit more substantial. However, the hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and cafes, allowing us to explore the vibrant Soviet-era boulevards of Almaty.The cleanliness of the room and the attentive housekeeping service added to the pleasant experience. The shared bathroom was spotless, with thoughtful touches like bathrobes and slippers provided. The air conditioning in our twin/double room ensured a comfortable night's sleep, and the free Wi-Fi made it easy to stay connected during our stay.Silk Way offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the cultural and natural wonders of Almaty. With its proximity to local points of interest and helpful staff, this inn provided a cozy base for our exploration of this fascinating city.
